Bitovi Academy Angular Workshop

Google Developer Group (GDG) Kansas Cityis a nonprofit technology user group that meets regularly to discuss the latest technologies, tools, SDKs, and APIs related to Google. This includes discussions of the technologies from a number of angles (start ups, corporations, and individuals).Women Techmakers (WTM) Kansas Cityis a program that provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology. The focus is on empowering women in their careers by providing access to curated resources and events, as well as information and tools from GDG Kansas City, Google, our partners, and the global tech ecosystem.Here are a few of the topics that we have covered so far:Android, AngularJS, Google App Engine, Google Maps, Dart, Google Apps Script, Google Cloud Platform, Firebase, and lots more!The group is free to attend and open to all who are interested in discussing and learning more about software development with Google Tools and Technologies.If you would like to stay up to date with events and activities of the group, please follow us on Google+. Join this two-part interactive workshop to learn Angular! This workshop is perfect for those wanting to move from AngularJS to Angular, or those needing to learn Angular from the ground up. This workshop will explain Angular fundamentals with hands-on learning exercises to ultimately build and deploy a working Angular app. 
 
This is an interactive workshop, you will need to bring your wifi-enabled laptop, power cord, and anything else you need to be productive. 
 
We’ll be building a restaurant ordering app and cover topics like using the Angular CLI, building components, creating routing & navigation, creating services to make get requests, using reactive forms, writing unit tests, and adding real time connections. With limited space available, there is a $5 fee to register. The money from this will go toward food.
