Saturdays and Sundays are available for birthdays at the Wenham Museum!
Our birthday party packages includes:
- Access to all of the museum's galleries, including the historic house;
- Use of the museum's function hall with tables and chairs;
- Party hosts have access to the museum 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your event rental for set-up and break-down time; and,
- Access to our kitchen
Birthday Parties are available from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. or from 1 - 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Capacity is limited to 45 people and includes access to all exhibitions and the first floor of the historic house.
Please note: the museum is open to the public during our regular museum hours, so your guests will be sharing the museum galleries with other visitors. If you book a Sunday morning birthday party, the museum will only be available to you and your guests. The museum opens to the public at 12:00 p.m. on Sundays.
Birthday party rentals are $350 for members and $425 for non-members. Members, please use discount code MEMBER at check-out for the member rate! The code should be added to the PROMO CODE box at the beginning of the check-out process. Private events include tables and chairs in the museum's function hall.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be served in the function hall. We also ask that you close the doors to the hall when you and your guests are consuming refreshments.
Party hosts may arrive 30 minutes before your event start time to set-up anything you may need for your event.
Note: If a time is not listed on the schedule, it is not available Please also note that in order to ensure staffing coverage, events must be booked 2 weeks in advance.
Refunds/Cancellations: Any cancellations made outside of 7 days of the event date are refundable less a $25 cancellation fee. Any cancellations made between 3 and 6 days of the event date will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable. All Online Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable at any time.
*** If the renter must cancel due to illness, including any COVID-related issue, the renter will be able to reschedule for a future available date. Any guests invited to your event who are feeling unwell, quarantining or isolating due to COVID-19 exposure, or are a known close contact with someone with COVID-19, may not attend.
At this time, face coverings are optional. The museum reserves the right to change this policy as needed.
