Prepare your body. Calm your nervous system. Step into birth feeling strong, informed, and confident.

If you’re in your second trimester or beyond and wondering how to best prepare yourself (and your partner) for labor, this class is for you.

This is a 2-hour, in-depth birth preparation session led by Dr. Katie Simmons, pelvic floor physical therapist and founder of ATL Pelvic Health. You’ll walk away with practical tools, hands-on strategies, and clear guidance to support a more empowered birth and smoother postpartum recovery.

Your registration includes you + one birth partner.

You’ll Learn:

  • Introduction to pelvic floor anatomy + how it functions during birth
  • The best labor and delivery positions for progress, comfort, and pelvic space
  • How to effectively push (and what to avoid)
  • How and when to perform perineal massage to reduce risk and severity of tearing
  • Partner-friendly comfort techniques for labor support
  • Nervous system + breath strategies to stay calm and connected
  • What your pelvic floor actually needs during birth (hint: not just kegels)
  • How to prepare your body to reduce common postpartum pelvic floor challenges

Plus: A take-home guide with everything you learned and clear next steps for prenatal and postpartum support at ATL Pelvic Health

This Class Is For You If:

  • You want your partner to confidently support you during labor
  • You value expert guidance grounded in science and compassion
