Birth & Beyond Workshop

Join us for a relaxed and interactive morning at Beachside Family Chiropractic as we explore pregnancy, birth, and baby’s developing nervous system.

This workshop is designed to give expecting parents a deeper understanding of what’s happening in the body during preconception, pregnancy, birth, and the early stages of baby’s life. Rather than focusing only on checklists and birth plans, we’ll be exploring the foundation that sits underneath it all the nervous system and how it influences how both mum and baby adapt during this important season of life.

During the workshop, Dr Chloe and Dr Kara will guide you through topics such as nervous system regulation during pregnancy, how stress can influence development, and how mum and baby’s nervous systems communicate through co-regulation. We’ll also discuss the concept of the “Perfect Storm”, how different experiences across pregnancy, birth and early life can stack together and how families can take supportive steps to help reduce that cascade.

You’ll also learn about baby’s nervous system development during pregnancy, the importance of building a supportive birth team, and simple ways to support both mum and baby during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Most importantly, this workshop is designed to feel supportive, empowering and community-focused. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, connect with other local mums, and enjoy the morning together.
