Are you interested in birding and getting out into nature more often? Are you unsure about what’s helpful to know to better prepare for outdoor excursions? Maybe you just want to learn about the best places to go birding in the Southeast Michigan area where you can borrow binoculars. Join us and the folks from the Detroit Bird Alliance! Enjoy a presentation with a chance to interact with scientific specimens, learn how to use binoculars, basic identification tips and a walk through of birding know-hows.

Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome. Free parking is available for event attendees in the DPL staff lot from 5pm-8pm.
