Birding at Coquille Point: Part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge
Bandon, Oregon
Enjoy a delightful walk on the beach among towering sea stacks covered in colonies of boisterous nesting seabirds. With a little luck we will also see Harbor Seals with pups hauled out on the lower reaches. Refuge volunteer and educator Carol Maude will lead the program. Bring your binoculars or borrow a pair from us. Full disclosure: some may find the 130 steps down, and back up from the beach, beyond their capabilities so please take this into consideration before registering. Meet at the parking lot at the end of 11th Street SW. in Bandon.
