Base of 103rd Street Footbridge on Randall's Island

Join us for a morning bird walk on Randall&#x27;s Island with environmental educator, ecologist, and urban naturalist Gabriel Willow. Gabriel is an experienced birder in NYC and beyond. Starting at the 103rd Street Footbridge (on the Island side) we will walk north towards the woodlands and salt marsh area. If time permits we will venture to the wildflower meadow across from Icahn Stadium. Once completed please think about joining us by the Urban Farm for our annual Harvest Festival from 12:00-3:00pm. We will send the day with another bird walk starting at 3:00pm from the Festival site. Feel free to join us again, please just <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/afternoon-bird-walk-tickets-169535199345" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">register </a>for that walk separately. Suggested equipment: binoculars, we will have a few to loan; apps: <a href="https://ebird.org/home" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ebird</a> and <a href="https://www.inaturalist.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">inaturalist</a> (if you are unfamiliar with these apps please stop by the Natural Areas Table to learn more about how they work and the benefits).
