National Parks and Wildlife Service are hosting Sam Bayley and team from South-West Ireland Ringing Group to share their knowledge about bird conservation and monitoring.
Get to see birdlife up close and personal whilst learning to understand the importance of the data that is gathered and the process of how to age, sex and record moult in birds.

Please park in Glengarriff Woods car park. We will walk to the Big Meadow which takes approximately 15 minutes along a relatively flat woodland path.
Bring water and a snack if needed. Perfect family event, but we can’t accommodate dogs at this event. This is a weather sensitive event so booking is essential and you will be contacted if the weather is not suitable.
