Join for an evening focused on flood risk and adaptation opportunities in the Birch Bay community.

Flooding and erosion are changing the shorelines of Birch Bay. Rising sea levels and bigger rainstorms will continue to make flooding and erosion destructive and expensive challenges.

Whatcom County’s Future Shorelines Project is looking ahead over the next 50+ years to better understand these risks and identify ways to reduce impacts through adaptation strategies.
