BioBlitz with the Pine Barrens Alliance

Come join us for a fun morning or afternoon (two sessions) exploring nature at a BioBlitz event with the Pine Barrens Alliance! We'll get together at 158 Center Hill Road to learn how to use the iNaturalist app to discover and document the incredible biodiversity of a selected coastal plain pond. You'll learn about local plants and animals, maybe even spot some rare species! Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to connect with nature and contribute to an important conservation effort. Two daily sessions: one starting at 830 a.m, the other at 12:30 pm.

-great family or group event

-take an hour, two or more to explore and identify species

-no special skills required, but a smartphone is necessary.

-dress for outdoors: bug spray, suntan lotion, waterproof shoes/boots.

-if you're experienced with iNaturalist, you can go straight to pond.
