A falls prevention bingocize program at South Cobb Regional Library.
This interactive, high-energy, small-group workshop is proven to reduce the risk and instances of falling. “Bingocizers” will practice graded exercises twice a week that will increase in duration and intensity over the 10-weeks, answer trivia questions, enjoy music, and play Bingo! The workshop is led by trained and certified Bingocize Facilitators. The program mixes health education, exercise, and Bingo to help manage health concerns, develop healthy exercise habits, and have fun!
Over the 20 sessions, registered participants will:
• Practice a variety of exercises
• Improve self-confidence
• Learn and use health information focused on Falls Reduction
• Improve nutrition choices and self-care
• Play Bingo and win special prizes
Participants will meet:
- In-person at the South Cobb Regional Library,
- Every Tuesday and Thursday for 10 weeks,
- At 2:00pm - 3:00pm
- Beginning August 25, 2026
This workshop is brought to you by Cobb County Senior Services, offered to participants AT NO COST in part through funding from the Atlanta Regional Commission, and coordinated in partnership with the South Cobb Regional Public Library!
