About this event

Marina and Cow Hollow Adventures!

Join me (a sixth generation San Francisco Native) for an adventure through the most beautiful corner of San Francisco.

This tour has some historic, some contemporary, ALL incredible and majestic.

We'll begin with the beautiful 360 degree views at Alta Plaza Park, before taking a leisurely stroll over to Billionaire's Row, where 6/10 houses that pay the highest property taxes in San Francisco are located.

The Lyon St Steps will take us to the Presidio and then onto the magnificence of the Palace of Fine Arts.

Learn about the history that defined this part of the City- what do the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition, the founding of the United Nations, an earthquake, and the crookedest street in the world have in common? -as we explore the charming streets lined with picturesque houses and not to mention...

Frequently asked questions

Where is the meeting location?

We will meet at Alta Plaza Park, at the entrance at the intersection of Scott St & Pierce St. 2355 Scott St is the physical street address across the street from where we begin the tour.

How much walking is there?

We will be walking just over a mile at a leisurely space with plenty of stops. There is one medium-sized hill- otherwise the route is mostly downhill or flat, and includes approx 333 steps (not the best option for wheelchairs or strollers unfortunatley).

What if it rains?

Rain or shine, the tour goes on! If the weather is particularly bad (rare in San Francisco) tour may be rescheduled to a different date or refund offered (at the sole discretion of the operator).
