About this event

BIKE RODEO Event

Get ready for a fun-filled morning at the free BIKE RODEO happening on Sat, May 04, 2024 at Eastlake Park! Join us at 9:00 AM to learn about bike safety and practice your skills.

The Kidz Bike Rodeo will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Eastlake Park in Phoenix. The event is free and targeted at youth who are aged 4 to 12.

The Bike Rodeo will allow scooters in addition to bikes, but not skateboards. Free helmets will available while supplies last.

The kidz bike rodeo will consist of an obstacle course with five activities for kids to try. Once they complete all the activities, they get a certificate of completion along with a raffle ticket to be entered for a grand prize. Particpants will learn hand signals, practice their bike navigation skills, have their bike inspected and ride a fun safety course.

Come and enjoy the beautiful outdoors while exercising. Mark your calendars and we'll see you at the BIKE RODEO!

The Arizona Informant Foundation is hosting the event in partnership with the Maricopa County NAACP Youth Council and the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation. The event is being held in conjunction with Black Rodeo USA Kidz Outreach program.
