Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just getting started, our Bike Repair Workshop has something for everyone! Here's what we'll cover: <h4>Bicycle safety check</h4><ul><li>Bike cleaning: Learn the difference between a deep clean and a spot clean, and how to inspect your bike for any potential issues.</li><li>Quick release skewers or thru-axles: Understand how to properly use and maintain these crucial components.</li><li>Brakes: Get to know your braking system, how to adjust it, and keep it functioning smoothly.</li><li>Tires/wheels: From fixing flats to truing wheels, we've got you covered.</li><li>Suspension: Learn the basics of suspension maintenance and adjustment for a smoother ride.</li><li>Front end/cockpit: Handlebar, grips, stem, and headset - essential elements for control and comfort.</li><li>Drivetrain: Dive into the workings of derailleurs, crank, chain, cassette, and pedals.</li><li>Saddle &amp; seatpost: Ensure your saddle and seatpost are set up correctly for a comfortable ride.</li></ul> <h4>If time permits, we'll also cover bicycle fit.</h4><ul><li>Seatpost Height: Find the optimal height for efficiency and comfort.</li><li>Saddle Tilt: Adjust the tilt to avoid discomfort and improve performance.</li><li>Saddle Fore/Aft: Learn how to position your saddle for the best riding posture.</li><li>Handlebar/Grips: Set up your handlebars and grips for better control and comfort.</li><li>Stem: Adjust the stem to suit your riding style and body mechanics.</li></ul>Attendees are welcome to bring a bike to work on as an example. This does not mean we'll be able to complete specific repairs on an individual bike.
