Join us for a fun and informative ride along the 30 mile Big Loop! Shoal Creek Conservancy, Safe Streets Austin, and Red Line Parkway Initiative are partnering together to give our members an exclusive ride along Austin's premier active transportation corridors and see the exciting progress along this critical set of urban trails. We will be joined by expert City of Austin staff to chat about recently completed trail segments, upcoming projects, and the future of Austin trails.Please bring bike &amp; helmet, water, sunscreen, and a sack lunch.This ride will remain at a comfortable pace to accommodate bicycle riders of most abilities. We will go counterclockwise through the Big Loop, following the completed trails and approximating the route where trails have yet to be built. There will be designated spots for peeling off at major transit hubs to accomodate riders who are time constrained. Meet at 8:30, wheels down at 9:00am. There will be a lunch break around noon and we hope to wrap up by 5:00 pm.
