B.I.G. HOPE Sets are a safe space for men of all ages to find community through fellowship as we learn to love and know God. Men engage in a God-community that nurtures spiritual development in ways that foster a deeper desire to seek the heart of the Father. Men who attend B.I.G. HOPE Sets understand truth through exploration of God’s word, discussion, conversation, and testimony. We will learn to apply this truth through four human needs of ‘Meaningfulness.’ We’re asking all men who attend HOPE Sets to ‘be’–be present (in the now); be engaged; be transparent (with self); be authentic; be open to correction; be loved–simply…be.
Four human needs for Meaningfulness:
IDENTITY: men discover who they are through a Christ-centered self-perception
VALUES: men believe a sure set of truths (God’s word) they use to discern right from wrong
EFFICACY: men believe they have the capacity to make a difference in the lives of others
PURPOSE: men understand and obey God's unique plan for their lives
