One Dalkeith

<h3>Accessibility &amp; Housekeeping</h3>The venue is step free and has a disabled bathroom. We will be running the majority of our event in The circle, with use of the servery. <a href="https://onedalkeith.info/" title="https://onedalkeith.info/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The website for One Dalkeith</a> has photos of these rooms. The event is could be loud, with quite a few people, but it is a large space and so there is space to move around and go to quieter areas. Below is a sensory map and an internal layout of the rooms we will use in the building. There are multiple rooms in the building we will not be using. There is parking spaces around the Dalkeith town center, where One Dalkeith is located. However, it could be difficult to find parking nearby. The entrance to the building is on Lothian Street, round the corner from the corner shop collective/ shops area. The food will be vegan and vegetarian. We will also provide gluten free options. If you have any specific dietary requirements that won't be covered by this, please email cory.maccormack@midlothianclimateaction.org.uk <h3>Agenda</h3>Here’s some of the things in our agenda:<ol><li>Introducing the Thematic Circles: We’ll officially launch our new Biodiversity, Food, Energy &amp; Heat, and Reuse, Share &amp; Repair Circles. This are spaces for connection, collaboration, and take action on issues that matter most to you. More information on these below.</li><li>Electing New Steering Group Members: We’ll be selecting new members to join our Steering Group, the team that helps guide the direction of the network. If you’re passionate about climate action and want to take on a leadership role, there’s more information below!</li><li>Upcoming Hub Small Funding Grants: We will be announcing our next round of small funding grants. Three types of grants will be available and they will be open for application over the month of May. This will be an opportunity to not only learn about them, but ask any questions you may have about the process.</li><li>A Chance to Connect and Socialise: Most importantly, this is a chance to meet fellow members, share your experiences, and celebrate the incredible work happening across our network. There’ll be plenty of time to chat, connect, and enjoy some delicious food together.</li></ol>
