About the Big Bang!

The UC Davis Big Bang! Business Competition provides free workshops and other events from October through April and concludes with pitches from five finalist teams at an awards ceremony in May.

The competition is open to everyone—students, faculty, university staff and the public—who wants to collaborate, develop and test business ideas. You'll find resources for mentorship, team creation, entrepreneurship education, mentoring and networking. Last year the Big Bang! awarded more than $112,000 in prizes.

Please note: You do not have to enter the Big Bang! competition to attend our workshops and build your entrepreneurial skills and network.
