BIG BAND BASH

Since 1975  the Kicks Band has been providing great big band jazz for the Fargo Moorhead Community. We off the best local jazz musicians opportunities to play great classic and conteporary big band literature, enjoy musician socializing, and improvise jazz. Website: www.fmkicksband.com The FM Kicks Band’s BIG BAND BASH will feature an afternoon of big band jazz featuring 90 musicians performing in one of 5 area of big bands. We’ll have performances by the El Zagal Shrine Big Band (Fargo), Beachfront Big Band (Detroit Lakes), Dakota Jazz Band (Fargo), Classic Swing Band (Grand Forks), and the FM Kicks Band. Food is close by, and there is a bar on site. *"This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund." - The Kicks Band is supported by operating support from The Arts Partnership, funded by The Arts Partnership, and supported by the Cities of Fargo, Moorhead, and West Fargo.
