We actively foster the biking community in Manchester by organizing community group rides, participating in local events, advocating for better cycling, and installing bike repair stations, pumps, & racks across the city.

This free class will help you gain an understanding of how and why bicyclists travel the roadways in the ways they do.

<p>Taught by David Sky, this one hour course will help you gain an understanding of how and why bicyclists travel the roadways in the ways they do. Why is this class so important? Check out the testimonial below for some inspiration.</p><p>“I took the Bicycle Friendly Driver (BFD) class at the suggestion of my daughter in law,” says Kathy Koeth, a previous BFD graduate. “My husband and I bike often and frequently disagreed over the proper rules of the road and interactions for bikes and cars. We learned a lot from the class - more than we expected to. It was entertaining and informative and we feel it helped us be more aware as drivers and riders. We&#x27;ve actually used the content with our oldest grandson as a new driver and our granddaughter as a learning bike rider. We would highly recommend folks participate in the program when available.”</p>
