Firearm saftey and Conealed Handgun Permit Class for member of the BGSC. In this class individuals will learn the basics of firearm saftey, discuss the nature of self-defense and the use of lethal force, identify various recreational trainining opportunities within the immediate community. Learn parts, function, and general firearm maintenance.
Participants will manipulate and become familar with the basic function of the mondern pistol through repetition. This class meets the firearm saftey requirement's to obtain your concealed handgun permit in the State of Virginia. Participants do not have to own a firearm to participate in this class. If the participant does not have a firearm, one will be provided to them for use during the class. This is a non-shooting class. NO LIVE AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.
