THIS IS A NON LIVE FIRE EVENT!
NO REAL AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE FACILITY.
COURSE BREAKDOWN:
Decision Making Lab is designed to create exposure to various scenarios that allow the student to make decisions, take actions, and learn from successes and failures from themselves and fellow students in a safely monitored setting.
We often think that we know what we would do in certain situations. How can we prepare for those? Come problem solve against live adversaries in realistic encounters. Scenarios may include physical force, simulated edged or blunt force weapons, as well as air-soft guns. Gas stations, stores, and your home are all common areas we find ourselves with potential conflict. Students in scenario-based training will be allowed to validate skills learned in previous courses, as well practice managing space, verbally engage others, and learn when to apply various levels of force. Each student will walk away with a better understanding of how they will react in a real-world situation, with the goal of improving those outcomes.
EQUIPMENT LIST:
- Notepad and pen for taking notes.
- Bag lunch, snacks and beverages to last the entire day(s)
- Camp chair (optional)
- An open mind and humble, willing-to-learn attitude!
ALL AIRSOFT WEAPONS, AMMO WILL BE PROVIDED.
Airsoft fires a plastic projectile that can sting upon contact. That is why safety gear will be provided. This includes helmets, protective face masks, headgear, eye protection and sleeves. Students may bring their own gear/trainers (all guns and gear will be subject to inspection). Students may also bring long sleeve attire, gloves and head protection.
