Welcome to the Beyond the Shop Community Mental Health Advocate Training Program, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering community guardians to effectively support historically marginalized communities in matters of mental health.
About the Program:
You may be familiar with The Confess Project of America's (TCPA) Beyond the Shop Series, dedicated to training barbers to be mental health advocates. Now, under the auspices of TCP Ventures, the advisory company to TCPA, we bring you The Beyond the Shop Community Mental Health Advocate Training Program. This program utilizes the Harvard University studied training piloted by TCPA.
What to Expect:
Join us for an intensive training experience where you'll learn the skills and knowledge needed to destigmatize mental health in historically marginalized communities. Facilitation begins at 8:30am each day and will conclude by 5pm.
Advocate Training (8 Contact Hours):

Yes, The Advocate Training is $150
Yes, participants will receive a certification upon successful completion of the training program. The certification is valid for two years.
