Class Description

This class is for you if you:

This workshop promises to connect participants with creative techniques within a unique group maker space environment. I am hoping to attract those wanting to boost their creative problem-solving and thinking skills. I am focusing on Guitar, however, the skills explored can be applied to work, non-Guitar-related hobbies, or general life improvement.

Group collaboration is a unique aspect of this workshop. Focusing within a group environment is valuable for anyone who needs to work more effectively with others. Engaging in specific ideation and brainstorming exercises in a group setting is valuable across many professions and situations.

Guitar-Specific Benefits: Those with even a basic guitar background can benefit in several ways:

  • Breaking out of a rut: Gaining new approaches to songwriting, practice techniques, improvisation, etc.
  • Networking: Meeting like-minded musicians, potentially leading to collaborations or new projects.
  • Inspiration: Learning from others and being exposed to different playing styles can ignite new passions.

Value Proposition:

  • Expertise: I have significant experience in guitar tools and techniques and creativity. Collaborating for this knowledge can be seen as a shortcut to gaining new skills.
  • Community: The workshop offers a chance to connect with others interested in similar topics, potentially leading to further learning and support networks.
  • Structure: A dedicated 4-hour block sets aside focused time for exploration and learning, often difficult to achieve independently.
  • Tangible Results: This workshop aims for participants to leave with something – a new song, a creative plan, or problem-solving techniques – making the investment more worthwhile.
