Asian Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Task Force

ABOUT: Asian Pacific Islander Domestic Violent Task Force (APIDVTF) is proud to host “Beyond the Basics: An Informational Event on Domestic Violence Resources for Service Providers” a free event for service providers working in the Greater Los Angeles Area. It will take place on thursday, October 12th, 2017 from 9:00AM to 12:30PM, in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This event will include important information for service providers who work with domestic violence survivors.
LOCATION: Pacific Training Institute’s Wilson Auditorium, 2471 East Walnut Street, Pasadena, CA 91107
SCHEDULE:
            9-9:30AM – Coffee/breakfast & registration 
            9:30-11AM – Presentations

<LI>Presentation #1: Tiffany Panlilio, Department of Justice accredited representative from Asian American Advancing Justice – Los Angeles (AAAJ-LA) will conduct a “Know Your Rights” presentation surrounding immigrant survivors of domestic violence.</LI>
<LI>Presentation #2: A district attorney from Korean Prosecutors Association will present on a special topic surrounding domestic violence.</LI>

PARKING IS TWO BLOCKS FROM THE AUDITORIUM PLAN TO ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES EARLY

<LI>Del Rey Parking Lot B: located across the street from Pacific Clinics Child & Family Services. Go one block east of Foothill/Altadena intersection, turn north onto Del Rey Ave. Enter through Parking Lot C.</LI>
<LI>Del Rey Parking Lot C: located adjacent to Lot B. Enter from Del Rey Avenue.</LI>
<LI>Surface street parking may be available along Cook Avenue and Walnut Street.</LI>
<LI>Limited 2-hour parking may be available in front of the Child & Family Services building on Foothill Blvd.</LI>

For Pacific Clinics Institute offices and Wilson Auditorium:

<LI>After parking, walk south on Del Ray Avenue back toward Foothill Blvd.</LI>
<LI>Turn right on Foothill Blvd. Go one block, cross Altadena Drive, then turn left on Altadena Drive.</LI>
<LI>Walk south on Altadena Drive for one block.</LI>
<LI>Turn right on Walnut Street. Enter the Institute from Walnut Street.</LI>
