Beyond Hands-On is a method of instruction that includes a philosophy, framework and routines for interactive learning.

WHY BEYOND HANDS-ON ?

There is a need to level up the design and delivery of historic trades trainings to be more interactive and relevant for every learner, and to increase the preservation literacy of historic tradespeople beyond the skillset to include the mindset and heartset.

WHAT IS BHIT?

Beyond Hands-On Instructor Training (BHIT) is a training program for historic tradespeople/educators to understand and use the Beyond Hands-On method of instruction.

WHY BHIT?

There is a need for historic trades instructors to be trained in the Beyond Hands-On method of instruction. It will give new instructors tools for effective student learning.
