<h3>Join us again to stand up for what is right and continue our initiatives to create supportive and empowering workplaces for all. </h3>Speakers will Include:Melissa Denizard Melissa is a young person and an activist, and she meets at the intersection. Melissa Denizard, a native of Haiti, is a 20 year old activist, documentarian, and senior at Babson College. As an activist, she uses her many talents, including public speaking, film, and the written word, to bring attention to the intersections of race, gender, and social class in the United States’ political framework. She also uses digital media as a medium to spread her message of social justice and equity through videography and graphic design.Since high school, Melissa has been committed to social justice, particularly pro-Black liberation. She has prior experience with leading and organizing local social justice organizations and movements. Through her work with social justice and documentary filmmaking, Melissa has gained expertise in project management, film editing, event planning, fundraising, community outreach, and social media branding.Food &amp; Drink gratefully sponsored by We Work

At Beyond Diversity 1.0, held on 10/1/19, attendees learned from Rosalyn Acosta, MA Secretary of Workforce Development, and Melissa Denizard about their experiences with diversity and equity in the workplace and their communities. Through active and exciting interaction with the audience, they to shared their experiences. A tremendous feeling of safety and opportunity to seek validation prompted a call for Beyond Diversity 2.0.Our journey on 1/16/2020 will provide continued participant engagement and conversation.
