Europe's accelerating offshore wind expansion demands coordinated, cross-border maritime spatial planning (MSP) that balances nature protection and restoration with the energy transition needs. Science shows that a sea-basin approach enables efficient grid development and wind energy deployment while optimizing marine space use. Join <a href="https://www.duh.de/englisch/" title="https://www.duh.de/englisch/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH)</a> and <a href="https://seas-at-risk.org" title="https://seas-at-risk.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Seas At Risk</a> in Nice, France, against the backdrop of the United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC 3) to dive into this exciting and timely topic. We’ll also examine best practices in cross-border MSP and how to implement ecosystem-based approaches in renewable energy planning.
