Workshop Overview:

Join world renowned speakers who will address the complex interplay between adiposity, weight stigma, and their impact on disease risk factors. Topics include BMI's history and its misuse, the limitations of using weight as a proxy for health, approaching the topic of weight with your patients, and the health implications of weight stigma, and body oppression. We'll address the intersection of culture and weight, shedding light on racial and ethnic challenges.
