About this event
“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me into your home. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was sick and you cared for me. I was in prison and you visited me.” - Mat 25:36-37
As Jesus shares in this passage, Christians are encouraged to love others in powerful and practical ways. In so doing, you are invited to love and serve Jesus. Join these classes to learn practical ways to love those in your community. Understand how to practice kindness and support and ways to volunteer to help those in need. Topics will include emotional intelligence in service, trauma-informed outreach, connecting with elders and those who are unhoused, understanding people with dementia and using art to connect hearts.
