Come and play with mixed media and newspaper, engaging different art methods. Be surprised, find conversation and catharsis.
Join the artists of Beyond - John Pratt, Toni Hassan and Kati Gorgenyi - for a hands-on workshop exploring how art can be a space for processing, release and reflection in response to the constant stream of news and information.
Working with newspaper as a legacy shared material, participants will be guided through a series of creative exercises led by multimedia artists who work across drawing, sculpture and printmaking. Together, we will cut, layer, mark and transform 'The news' into new forms—moving from overwhelm toward expression.
No prior experience is needed. Refreshments and materials provided.
