Is there a provision for disabled persons?

Yes, we will have designated parking close to the gate, and specific toilet facilities all on ground level. Please note that if the weather isn't kind, it may get slippy and soft of the grass. Also, the after party is upstairs from 10.30pm for which we on have a stair lift.

Can I bring my own drink?

Accepted Answer

Soft drinks, yes, but not alcohol. We have to adhere to the licencing laws. Security will be checking for alcohol, and dangerous items in baggage as usual at festivals.

Will there be cover if it rains?

Yes, but limited to a marquee looking towards the stage, which would become crowded if numbers are good on the day - fingers crossed for the sunshine!

How far is the walk from the centre of Beverley?

10 mins from the centre and bus station, 15 mins from the railway station.

Is the postcode accurate?

Accepted Answer

Yes, HU17 9HT, Beaver Park ( the home of Beverley RUFC) on Norwood in Beverley, next to the railway crossing and behind the new houses - please do not park next to those homes.

Can I have a stall at the event?

Yes, we are looking for information stalls to advertise your good cause, and also trade stalls for which there will be a small charge, please contact beverleypride@gmail.com for further information.

Are you catering for special dietary needs?

Yes, as much as we can. We will ensure that our food vendors also have options.

Will there be first aid?

Yes, via dedicated professionals.

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes, dogs are welcome with responsible owners. As it is a public event they will need to be kept on lead whilst on Beaver Park. However, through our side gate there is access to a dog walking field where they would be allowed to exercise off leads.

Yes, we will have parking available with a parking fee of £8

Can I bring a picnic?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Bring a picnic, a blanket and even some camping chairs if you want too! We are only asking that people don't bring their own supply of alcohol for safety and management reasons.

Is there CCTV on site

yes, we have responsible cameras throughout the full site to increase security at the venue.

can we leave and come back in

Yes we will be stamping people into the event so as long as you have a stamp you will be back in :)

Question 14

Are tickets refundable ?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if cancelled before the date. But this event is going to happen even if the weather is bad we have taken some precautions against the rain! If however there is torrential rain and lightning making the event unsafe, unfortunately, tickets are not refundable in that instance.

Is there a secure place for bicycles?

Yes but bring your own locks and be aware it is not under shelter. Beverley RUFC accepts no risk for owners property/ vehicles at the event.The club will be closed by 5PM on Sunday the 9th of July, please make sure your bike is removed by then.

Can we bring recreational drugs?

Accepted Answer

No. This is a family event and all illegal substances will not be tolerated, please do not use them on site, anyone found using such substances will be asked to leave immediately and drugs confiscated and reported to police by our security team.
