Topics covered will include: the pathophysiology of brain death, management of a brain injured patient, the process of brain death testing, donation after brain death and circulatory death, family conversations surrounding donation, as well as the nurse's role in this process. We will also hear from those whose lives have been impacted by donation. Breakfast and coffee are provided. RNs will earn 4 CE's.
