Description

Join Mesosphere, Sysdig and your peers for lunch and to learn about the extraordinary ways DC/OS is being used to innovate and transform businesses. You will gain a complete understanding of how to quickly and easily implement a Kubernetes cluster, scale it out post implementation based on consumption and conduct Day 2 activities with minimal operational impact. Also learn how to include deep data on containers for monitoring and security.

By using a modern platform like DC/OS, you will be able to quickly add additional services like portability to public clouds, real time analytics or machine learning. Learn how customers have reduced HW costs by improving density of these applications and in many instances improve scalability and resiliency. This will be a great opportunity to meet with industry peers within your community while learning how to achieve a highly scalable modern infrastructure while leveraging Kubernetes on DC/OS.

Agenda:

11:30am - 12:10pm: Check-in, grab food, network

12:10pm – 12:25pm: Overview of DC/OS and how to implement a Kubernetes Cluster

12:10pm -12:45pm: Conducting Day 2 activities on Kubernetes Cluster in conjunction with Persistent Data Services

12:45pm - 1:30pm: Assess the Health and Security of Containers in a Kubernetes Cluster

With the growing need to leverage Kubernetes and modern data services comes the need to quickly upgrade and scale out these clusters as well as assess the relative health and security of the containers and platform. We will demonstrate an example of upgrading the cluster as well as reviewing the monitoring dashboard for the health of the containers and determine if there are any security risks.
