In collaboration with the Portland Dance Film Fest, the Berlin Dance Film Festival brings a curated collection of international Dance films to Berlin audiences. Dance for film is a rapidly growing art form enabling choreographers to explore unconventional environments for dance, alongside the choreographic nature of film editing. This year (2024) will be the first installment of an annual event packed with unique dance-for-camera works that specifically contribute to the development of the genre.
