Join Berkeley Law's Silicon Valley Alumni Chapter for a moderate 3.5-mile hike in the hills of the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve. This loop has approximately 400 feet of elevation gain and includes time on the White Oak Trail and the Stevens Creek Nature Trail. Dogs are not permitted on the trail.
Date: Sunday, June 2, 2024
Time: Meet at the parking lot at 8:15 a.m.; we will begin hiking at 8:30 a.m. sharp and expect to conclude by 11:00 a.m.
Location and Parking: The Preserve's main entrance is on Page Mill Road, 7 miles west of Highway 280 and 1.5 miles east of Skyline Boulevard. Additional parking is available at the Los Trancos Open Space Preserve parking area, located directly across Page Mill Road.
Parking Fee: $6 per car (you are encouraged to bring small denomination cash)
Dress: Dress for cooler early morning weather and prepare for warmth in the midday. You are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, a hat, and snacks.
Restrooms: There is one portable bathroom located at the trailhead.
