Partners In Health Engage (PIHE) is building the right to health movementby recruiting and empowering teams of dedicated volunteer community organizers. These teams drive campaigns focused on building and directing power towards generating new resources, fostering public discourse, and advocating for effective policies.Weorganizeby building strong teams and by fostering alliances with like-minded groups to ensure that the right to health is highlighted in the democratic process.Weeducateby hosting discussion groups and public lectures about the right to health.Wegenerateresources to fund high quality healthcare for people living in poverty.Weadvocatefor global and domestic policies that further the right to health.Together, we demand the right to health be protected for all people, everywhere.

<P><SPAN>As a collaboration between Partners in Health Engage and Broad Institute, this event is a free screening of Bending the Arc. Bending the Arc </SPAN><SPAN>is a documentary about a team of young people—Paul Farmer, Jim Yong Kim, Ophelia Dahl—whose charitable medical work 30 years ago ignited a global health movement. Their goal was simple but daring: to make high quality health care available to everyone, even in the world’s poorest countries. Fighting entrenched diseases, political and bureaucratic machinery, and the existing charity and medical establishments, these crusaders took their fight from the village to the world stage, to ensure that health care is a right for all, and that geography should not determine destiny.</SPAN></P>
