The Bender Robotics End-of-Year Celebration is a special gathering to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of Bender Robotics Team at Boise State. This year marked a milestone for the team as they built a completely new lunar excavation robot and prepared to compete for the first time at NASA’s prestigious Lunabotics Challenge in Florida.
Over the past academic year, Bender Robotics has tackled an array of engineering, design, and leadership challenges. From brainstorming concepts and building prototypes to conducting critical design reviews and refining autonomous systems, the team has demonstrated the kind of innovation, resilience, and teamwork that defines collaborative engineering.
This event offers an exciting opportunity for attendees to:
- Explore the robot that will compete in the Lunabotics Challenge
- Hear from student engineers about the technical journey and lessons learned
- Celebrate the team’s progress and the supportive community behind them
- Send off the team as they prepare for national competition
Whether you're a friend, family member, sponsor, professor, fellow student, or community member interested in robotics, this is your chance to meet the team, ask questions, and celebrate the achievements of one of Boise State’s most ambitious robotics efforts to date.
Let’s gather to honor the hard work, share our excitement for what’s ahead, and toast to a successful competition in Florida!
Make Sure to follow the team on LinkedIn & Instagram to follow their progress and get live updates from the competition!
