About this event

  • 2 hours

Can you feel the subtle shift of Season, in the breeze growing warmer, in the echo of early morning birdsong, and in the flowers who stretch out their petals in a wild dance of color?

The wheel of the year is taking its brightest and most abundant turn towards Summer again and we are sweetly reminded of our intimate connection to Nature, as our vitality naturally wakes with the blooming of life all around us.

Beltane is an ancient Gaelic Festival, held on May 1st, the midpoint between spring equinox and summer solstice. This seasonal celebration is filled with rich and magical lore. It's traditionally celebrated with fire ceremonies, community gatherings and rituals that honor the peak of Spring, the coming of Summer and the energies of rebirth, fertility, awakening and abundance the season brings forth. The word Beltane means 'bright fire', symbolizing the Sun and the growing light, found both in Nature and within ourselves.

Lets take a grounding moment to welcome the light of Summer together, by gathering in community to connect with the natural elements and energies of the season.

By taking an intentional moment to ground into the season and honor the rhythms of Nature we can tap into a source of wisdom and healing that has deeply supported the human spirit for all of time.

What to Expect: We'll learn the creative art of weaving flower crowns, ground into an intention setting ritual for the season ahead and reawaken our vital energy through mindful movement and dance.

-You are welcome to come in festive clothing or costume!

-No refunds available, however, a credit will be applied towards a future event hosted by Lesley and Liz.
