Bellows' return to live performance! With performances by Joanna Sternberg and Julian Cubillos

Started as a recording experiment in a bedroom in upstate New York in 2010, the project has since blossomed into a large-scale rock band, employing the help of friends to bring Kalb's recordings to life in sweeping &amp; intense live performances. The sound of Bellows is sensory &amp; delicate, subtle and quiet, but explodes with frantic wobbling drums, orchestral flourishes &amp; electronic bursts that defy the conventions of pop and folk. Cubillos' musical style has been described with a wide array of categorizations including "jazzy lo-fi," psychedelic, garage rock and electropop. Cubillos is a songwriter, recording engineer and producer based in New York, NY.THE SPACE (*please read*): Tasty Licks is held at a DIY music venue called Wet Spot in Bushwick. The event space is located on a 1,000 sq ft deck attached to a 2nd floor walk up apartment. The bathroom will be located inside the apartment. To get to the deck you will need to enter the apartment and climb out a window--there are steps in and out of the window. Masks are required when inside the building and using the restroom. YOU MUST BE VACCINATED TO ENTER THE VENUE.
