In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are inviting our members to an intimate and exclusive behind the scenes event at David Austin Roses this summer.
Following a welcome drink and refreshments, with time for group introductions, the Head Gardener will lead a tour of the world-famous rose gardens.
After a light lunch in the garden room, female department heads and experts will be sharing their skills, knowledge, and personal experiences to connect with, support and celebrate the experiences of women in horticulture.
Topics include:
- Job skills development
- Career progression
- Work-life balance
- Life-stage advice
The event will close with an introduction to rose care.

The venue is fully accessible with ample free parking, entrance ramps and hardstanding paths around the gardens. Vegetarian and vegan lunch options are available. Spaces are limited to 20 on a first come, first served basis.
All proceeds from tickets will to go to the horticultural charity Perennial.
