This month: Behavioral Intervention and Threat Teams in the Workplace

BIT/threat teams are central to any workplace violence prevention plan. These multi-disciplinary teams (beyond HR and security) meet regularly to review potential concerns that occur and develop risk mitigation plans. We will share how these teams operate and discuss the WVPA standards developed for workplace teams. A review of several case studies using our Pathways-HR expert system will help participants understand the utility of this approach.
