Interested in learning about backyard poultry flock management?
This workshop is being held at Clemson Livestock Poultry Health, 500 Clemson Road, Columbia, SC.
The program will cover several important aspects of poultry production. Topics to be covered include:
- Intro of getting started
- Different breeds for production
- Housing – permanent, mobile housing, pastured poultry
- Predator control
- Feeding and nutrition
- Biosecurity basics to prevent diseases
Registration is $95 and includes a flash drive containing copies of the presentation, fact sheets, lunch, and refreshments. This program should prove beneficial to new and experienced poultry owners alike.
