This beginning beekeeping workshop is perfect for the new beekeeper or a beekeeping looking to hone their skills.

This class is hosted by Lindsay Chichester, UNR Extension Educator - Douglas County and Del Barber, EdD. Lindsay and Del are also affiliated with the Douglas County Bee and Pollinator Club, the Douglas County 4-H Bee Club, and the Great Basin Beekeepers of Nevada. February 18, 6:00-8:45p.m.February 19, 8:00a.m.-4:45p.m.Door prizes!Participants will learn:•	Beekeeping 101•	Bee biology•	Planting for pollinators•	Bee health and disease•	Hive inspections•	Tasty treats from the hive•	The sting•	And more!!Participants will receive copies of all handouts, snacks, and lunch on Saturday.
