Beginner's Wheel Throwing Pottery Workshop

Join us at 5420 W Belmont Ave for a fun and creative event where you can learn the art of wheel throwing 🏺Beginning students will start with basic throwing techniques and progress with each students’ needs. We will make all work microwave and dishwasher safe by firing them in a kiln to cure your work.


KNOW BEFORE YOU GO : Part 1 and 2 are to be completed on two seperate dates!

Part 1: Create a piece on the wheel

Part 2: Paint your work with Glaze

Part 1: During this 2 hour wheel throwing workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn and experiment wheel throwing with an instructor. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity and learn something new. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to get crafty and make your own masterpiece!


Part 2: Allow at least 1-2 weeks after your first session to account for dry-time + bisque firing. In part 2, you will be able to customize your work with glaze in-studio. A non-toxic, dish, and food safe paint that has shiny results once fired.


ADMISSION INCLUDES:
- Use of studio tools
- Clay
- Equipment
- Studio glazes
- Firings


We offer open studio hours on Weekdays from 12 - 5 pm in case there is a workshop conflict
