• Reactive forces and Kick Back
• Limbing and Bucking
• Compression, Tension and Avoiding Bar Pinch
• Spring Poles (typical after storms)
• Face notch, Back Cut & Hinge Wood
• Felling sites and Operator Positioning
• Maximizing Hinge Performance & Control
• Tree & Site Assessment: Height, Hazards, Obstacles, Lean and Mass Evaluation

Not only will you understand how to properly use your chainsaw, but you will also know how to do simple tree care. You will also know when it is UNSAFE to tackle your own tree care and what could happen.

Feel free to bring a snack/water bottle along with your saw. Registration is non-refundable, however you may apply it to our next class for up to one year.
