Join this relaxed, beginner-friendly jewellery making workshop and learn how to create your own handmade wire stud earrings from scratch.

In this 2-hour class, you’ll be guided step by step through shaping, looping and hammering wire to create multiple pairs of wearable stud earrings, all made from a single piece of wire which also forms the earring backs.

No previous experience is needed – this class is designed to build confidence while teaching real jewellery-making skills.

What you’ll learn

• How to use professional jewellery tools
• How to shape wire into clean, wearable designs
• Looping and forming techniques
• Hammering for strength and texture
• How to create stud earrings using one continuous piece of wire

What you’ll make

• At least 3 pairs of wire stud earrings
• Many students will make 4–5 pairs, depending on speed
• Designs include spirals, hearts, abstract loops and geometric styles
• Optional bead-woven leaf design for confident makers

(More advanced floral designs are taught in intermediate classes.)
