What is the age range to register for this camp?

This camp is for ages 5-10.

What do I need to pack?

Please bring a sack lunch and refillable water bottle.  An extra change of clothes is never a bad idea!   We will be providing helmets for all of the students.

Will my child get to ride a horse?

Yes!  We will spend a portion of each day (approximately 1 hour) learning how to ride.  If you child is timid and wants to stay on the ground, that's ok too!  We'll do our best to build their confidence and help them feel comfortable around our four legged friends.

What types of activities can we expect?

We will spend a portion of every day focusing on different aspects of horses, including tack and care.  We will use creative learning activities to keep them engaged, while building some foundational knowledge.  We often have scavenger hunts, team challenges, hands on experiences, & crafts!

What animals will my child be exposed to?

Our farm is home to 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 Pygmy goats, 2 mini horses, and 26 equine friends.  Our barn is always busy and our animals are used to being exposed to kids!

What to wear to camp?

All campers need to wear long pants and a closed toe shoe.  A boot is preferred.
