Have you ever wondered what it means for something to be screenprinted? In this class you will work with your own design. Send in your artwork the week of your class and it will be prepared on a screen for you before hand, ready when you arrive, so you can print print print. In the "Learn All" "Tshirt" and "Textile" printing series we create the screens together. In this intro class we work on Just the printing. You can print on almost anything! You can bring in textiles or papers and some sample materials are provided. YOU CAN EVEN KEEP THE SCREEN! Eventbrite students will be emailed about it. More info with sign up email, make sure to read it carefully.

Each student will be asked to send artwork not later than 2 days before your class. The artwork must be solid black and no larger than 7.5" x 13." While the artwork should be ONE color, you may print with a few different colors while in class.

"Better Than Jam" is the textile printing and fashion line of owner Karin Persan, since 2007. The newest space, post Covid, of the same name is now at 10 Grattan Street. There is a small showroom with remnants of the boutique that ran 10+ years that hosted handmade creations of local designers. However the space now is mainly the large private studio of the creator, where screenprinting and textile dyeing occurs. You will be welcomed into the artist's creation space! A little different for returning students but still great and lucky to have.
