Our beginner Salsa dance class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of dancing salsa with a partner. In this class, you will learn the essential steps, timing, and techniques that form the foundation of Salsa on2. Whether you're completely new to dancing or are transitioning from Salsa on1, this class is perfect for anyone looking to start or progress their salsa journey. Joel and Lucia bring their many years of knowledge in the Latin dance industry, and offer a safe and supportive environment to ask questions and make happy mistakes.
Our classes always begin with a warm-up, where we focus on the basic timing and footwork of salsa on2. We then partner up and learn a set of patterns which turn into a full and fun routine danced with everyone as the class progresses. Don't worry about bringing a dance partner, as we rotate throughout the class. Just come ready to learn, laugh, and have fun. Our community is very warm and inviting. We always say come ready to smile, because learning the art of salsa should be a joyous activity done with others in the community, and we promise you will love our MO2 community!
Don't prolong your dream of learning how to salsa any more, and join us for our weekly Beginner Salsa class every Tuesday at 7PM at The Tango Room in Sherman Oaks. Come in comfortable or casual attire you can move in. Either not-so grippy tennis shoes or proper Latin dance shoes work best. There is parking lot available onsite.
